Offering a Course During an Intersession

Faculty wishing to offer a course during an Intersession term may request a Course Request form (CRF) from our office or click on the Course Request Form (CRF) link below for course paperwork.

The CRF must be filled out and signed by the faculty member wishing to offer the course and must include approval signatures of the department chair/head and of the college dean before the course can be added to the Intersession schedule of classes.

Intersession courses are held Monday through Saturday during each Intersession term.  Wintersession and Summer Intersession terms are held over 11 course meeting days for 3.5 hours per day for each 3-hour class.  Spring Intersession term consists of 14 class meeting days, and classes meet 3 hours per day for each 3-hour course.

Graduate students and adjunct faculty approved to teach an Intersession term by their departments may have additional paperwork to complete for payroll purposes.
