Summer Intersession

 

(a condensed academic term between summer terms and fall semester)

 

There are eleven class days in Summer Intersession plus final exam.  Each 3-hour lecture class will meet for  3.5 hours and will include two 10-minute breaks.

 

Students may schedule 4 credit hours in Summer Intersession and may schedule up to 6 hours with special approval from their dean's office.

 

Course scheduling:

 

Students schedule and register as for any other semester using PAWS.   Scheduling instructions, timelines, and course offerings are available in the schedule booklet on the University Registrar website.  Courses can also be found on the  PAWS website and at the Summer Intersession Courses link below. 

Summer Intersession Calendar 2008

 

Classes begin Aug 4 M
Final date for dropping courses without receiving a grade of "W" Aug 4 M
Final date for adding courses for credit and making section changes Aug 5 Tu
Final date for resigning from the University and/or dropping courses Aug 12 Tu
Classes end Aug 15 F
Final examinations Aug 16 Sat
Final grades due, 9:00 a.m Aug 19 Tu
